TLP's Journey: From Listening to Leading The Croft@Crook Hub

At TLP, The Listening Project, we've always believed in the power of community. Our journey began as a dedicated social research initiative right here in Crook, County Durham. For a full year, we committed ourselves to a deep dive into the heart of our community, engaging in participatory observation to truly understand the existing services and, more importantly, where the genuine needs and gaps lay. Our mission was clear: to identify how new provisions could most effectively address social, digital, and cultural exclusion. What we heard, consistently and compellingly, was a profound call for inclusive services that genuinely connect with our townspeople and rebuild trust.

Building on those invaluable insights, TLP is now thrilled to transition from a pure research project into the dedicated social, educational, and cultural delivery agent for The Croft@Crook CIC. This isn't just a new role for us; it's a natural evolution that solidifies our commitment. Every program we launch through The Croft@Crook Hub will be directly shaped by the voices we've listened to. We're here to ensure that our initiatives are not abstract ideas, but tangible, responsive solutions, continually guided by the very principles of trust, accessibility, and genuine community benefit that founded TLP.

A Shared Vision: Our Partners in Progress

The Croft@Crook CIC is a testament to the strength that comes from collaboration, and we at TLP are proud to become a part of such a dynamic partnership. We're working hand-in-hand with:
